Welcome to Liquid

Welcome to the first in a series of interesting, informative, funny, thought-provoking blogs from Liquid (and you know that if they’re coming from us, that’s exactly what they’re going to be. No boring guff here. No chance, the Colonel wouldn’t allow it.)

Our new website is live here and over the coming weeks and months we’ll be keeping you informed, up-to-date and entertained with all that’s going on at Liquid as well as opinion, insight and a laugh from our team and the key movers and shakers in the recruitment industry. Some of whom, believe it or not, are in this office.

Why are we blogging we hear you ask? Well, for a couple of reasons. First, it’s about adding value to the service we offer you and ensuring you know who we are and what makes us tick.

Second, we’re paying for it so they’re being done. End of.

Here’s a good place to start – familiarise yourself with our new site layout. It’s clean and easy to navigate and we have a very efficient search facility on the Vacancies page that lets you find exactly what you’re looking for. We’ve also got some proper slick animation on the How page.

We’ve got to be honest, we’re seriously happy with the new website. It gives us a renewed drive to work hard and smart for our clients into 2018 and beyond and to ensure that the service they get from us is of the highest standard and ultimately productive.

You want jobs and staff? We want to give you jobs and staff. It’s slightly more complex than that but if you pare it down to basics, that’s our raison d’être.

While we’re on the subject, if there are any roles listed that interest you, follow the simple instructions on the website or if you need any additional info, drop us a line here – kudos if you send a fax. Does anyone even have a fax machine? If you do, send us a photo on Twitter or Facebook and you might win a prize.*

*You won’t.

Additionally, if you have a specific or niche requirement for staff, talk to us. It’s likely we have what you’re looking for. Our reach is wide and our reputation precedes us.

Before we sign off, please permit us a moment of seriousness…

We’re in an extremely competitive industry but we’re lucky in that the rebrand has allowed us to take a step back and look at the business in terms of what we’re doing, what we’re not doing and how we can make every aspect of what we do better, clearer and more efficient for clients and candidates.

We did it by being honest with ourselves and most importantly listening to people we trust and acting on that advice. The net result is, for all intents and purposes, a brand-new company, and now it’s your turn.

We can only grow and offer a more coherent, robust service through feedback and taking on board comments from the end user, so what do you think about what we do? The only way we know what you want from us is if you tell us, so come on, be honest…

Is there anything you would like us to do? Any aspect of our service that you think could be improved? Anything you want to read about in these blogs (the funniest suggestion wins a prize). *

*It doesn’t.

For now, we’ll say thank you for reading this far and we’ll look forward to disrupting your day with some more blogs soon.
