Building Works Surveyor

We’re seeking an experienced Building Works Surveyor to support the London our clients housing disrepair programme on a 26-week contract.

This is a key role ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed to a high standard, with a strong focus on compliance, cost control, and resident satisfaction.

Key Details:

• Rate: £32.41 PAYE / £41.65 Umbrella
• Contract: 26 Weeks (Temporary)

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess disrepair across housing stock
• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring quality, compliance, and budget targets
• Maintain digital records and update the asset database
• Coordinate with Building Safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Respond to enquiries and provide expert technical support

What We’re Looking For:

• Knowledge of disrepair legislation and responsive repairs
• Experience working with local authorities or housing providers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain detailed records
