Description

We’re looking for a proactive Compliance Support Analyst to join a busy housing provider in their finance team, supporting key governance and regulatory processes across a highly regulated environment.

You’ll play a vital role in maintaining compliance frameworks, supporting audits, and ensuring external submissions and registers are accurate and up to date. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail, great communication skills, and a willingness to learn within a regulated (FCA) setting.

Key Details:

  • Location: Kings Cross (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
  • Rate: £18.86/hr PAYE or £24.95/hr via umbrella
  • Contract: Ongoing temporary role, with potential to go permanent

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support compliance and risk management processes, including maintaining the compliance calendar and monitoring external submission deadlines.
  • Help manage the Senior Management & Certification Regime (SM&CR), tracking which roles sit within the framework and ensuring documentation is maintained.
  • Maintain and review key registers, including the Asset & Liability register and Gifts & Hospitality log.
  • Collect, analyse, and present data for senior stakeholders and committees.
  • Support quarterly audit cycles using a risk-based approach.
  • Contribute to compliance workshops (e.g. anti-fraud, AML) and support process improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong eye for detail and analytical mindset – you enjoy solving problems and thinking outside the box.
  • Confidence communicating with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Awareness or understanding of compliance principles and regulated activity (FCA exposure desirable but not essential).
  • Willingness to learn and develop – ideal for someone aspiring toward an ICA-recognised compliance qualification.
  • Competent in Excel (Power BI or D365 experience a plus).

This role would suit someone looking to step into compliance, risk, or governance within a large, purpose-driven organisation. Apply today for immediate consideration!
