Fire Risk Officer

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Risk Officer to join our client’s Assets team. This role is vital in ensuring buildings remain compliant and safe for residents.

Key Details:

• Contract: 3 months (until June 2025)
• Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office)
• Location: Bruce Kendrick House, Kings Cross (with one monthly visit to Sussex Place, Hammersmith)
• Shifts: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
• PAYE Rate: £22.57 per hour
• Umbrella Rate: £29.67 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Manage passive fire remedial contractors
• Oversee Fire Risk Assessment actions and ensure compliance
• Provide guidance to internal teams on fire safety measures
• Track and manage purchase orders
• Lead weekly/monthly contract meetings with stakeholders
• Liaise with consultants (e.g., Savills, Clear Safety) for inspections and specifications

Requirements:

• Experience in contract and stakeholder management
• Strong knowledge of fire risk regulations
• Financial management skills to ensure timely contractor payments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting systems
