Fire Risk Officer

Fire Risk Officer – Immediate Start 

Location: Hybrid – Based in Office (Mon, Wed, Thurs), WFH (Tues, Fri)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri, typically 9am–5pm)
Rate: PAYE £23.03 per hour | Umbrella  £30.46 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Fire Risk Officer, managing the full cycle of the Leasehold/Section 20 process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the entire Leasehold/Section 20 process
• Request and collect quotes from contractors
• Notify Housing Officers of quote amounts to begin resident consultation periods
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders
• Maintain and update the project tracker with the status of all jobs
• Liaise and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including:
• Fire Safety Team
• Contractors
• Housing Officers
• Finance
• Residents

What We're Looking For:

• Excellent organisation and project tracking skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Self-driven with a proactive attitude to follow up and chase actions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Experience or knowledge in Fire Safety/Compliance within a Housing Association – desirable, not essential

This is a hybrid role with a flexible but structured weekly pattern:

• Office-based: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
• Work from home: Tuesday & Friday
