We’re looking for an experienced and detail oriented Insurance Officer to join our client on a temporary basis. This role involves managing insurance claims, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and internal teams, and ensuring effective risk management across the organisation.
Key Details:
- Location: 3 days per week in office based in Kings Cross / hybrid
- Rate: £20.29 per hour (PAYE) | £26.68 per hour (Umbrella)
- Contract Length: Temporary
- Hours: Full-time
Responsibilities: ? Manage the insurance mailbox, ensuring effective prioritisation
? Assist in the annual insurance renewal process
? Process and manage insurance claims from initiation to resolution
? Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, surveyors, and internal teams
? Provide insurance-related advice across the organisation
? Utilise in-house systems to access relevant data (repair records, tenancy/lease agreements, etc.)
? Draft correspondence to insurers, solicitors, and claimants/residents
? Promote awareness of insurance risks within the organisation
Requirements: ? Experience in the housing and/or insurance sector, particularly with large organisations
? Proficiency in handling insurance-related administrative tasks, including claims processing
? Strong organisational skills for maintaining records and documentation
? Understanding of risks within a social housing environment
? Commitment to completing a professional insurance qualification (Cert CII or higher) within 3 years if not already held
