Description
We’re looking for a Resident Services Officer (Housing) to join our client’s team.
This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality neighbourhood management services, supporting residents with tenancy matters, and ensuring seamless coordination of housing functions.
Key Details:
- Temporary role until August (potential to extend)
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Rates: £17.73 ph PAYE / £22.01 ph Umbrella
Your Role:
- Provide face-to-face, telephone, and email support to residents, ensuring their queries are resolved effectively.
- Assist with tenancy-related functions, including mutual exchanges, tenancy visits, and Right to Buy applications.
- Manage reception services, ensuring that visitors and residents receive excellent customer service.
- Process incoming and outgoing housing management correspondence, including Members' Enquiries and complaints.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and data management for tenancy agreements and estate-related tasks.
- Support fire risk assessment monitoring and estate inspections.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a housing or customer service role, preferably within a local authority or social housing setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
- Ability to work well with residents, stakeholders, and teams to improve service outcomes.
