We're currently working with a leading London-based housing provider who are passionate about delivering safe, high-quality homes and outstanding service for residents. They’re now looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Repairs Officer to join their Repairs Delivery team as part of the Awaab’s Law campaign, helping to raise housing standards and ensure all homes meet new regulatory requirements.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied role and takes real pride in ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.
You’ll play a key role in supporting and supervising a team of around 10 Repairs Officers (not line management) - providing technical expertise, guidance, and oversight to make sure repairs are completed swiftly, safely, and effectively.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing complex and high-value repair cases to ensure compliance with Awaab’s Law
- Providing expert support and advice to Repairs Officers on escalated issues
- Monitoring contractor performance, cost, and quality
- Ensuring high standards of health, safety, and resident satisfaction
- Acting as the go-to technical point for challenging repair cases
What you’ll need:
- Strong experience within housing repairs or property maintenance
- Proven ability to supervise, coach, or support teams delivering repair services
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of compliance and housing safety standards
- A proactive and resident-focused approach
Key Details:
- Contract: 4-5 month temporary contract - potential to go permanent for the right person
- Location: Kings Cross | Hybrid - 4 days in office, 1 from home initially
- Rates: £29.45 per hour via umbrella | £40,536 permanent salary
