We’re looking for a proactive Visiting Officer to support our clients Housing Options service.
This is a temporary role working out in the community, carrying out occupancy checks, detecting fraud, and ensuring accommodation is used effectively.
Key Details:
- Rate: £15.50 PAYE / £19.59 Umbrella
- Contract: Temporary
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned and unannounced visits to tenants in temporary accommodation
- Verify residency, collect data, and report findings
- Identify safeguarding concerns and refer clients appropriately
- Provide advice and support to residents, ensuring service standards are met
- Report fraud, disrepair, and tenancy issues to internal teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with vulnerable clients in housing or support roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A customer-first, investigative approach
- Good IT and record-keeping abilities
- A full UK driving licence or commitment to obtaining one
