They support high-growth businesses to scale – both international businesses expanding into the UK and London-based businesses growing internationally and we support London’s small and micro-businesses to thrive.

They now have a need for a Business Support Executive on a temporary basis paying £16.52 ph PAYE / £27.10 ph Umbrella rate.

The Business Support: Leads Qualification Executive will help to deliver the Grow London Local small business support service across London.
Reporting to the Head of Business Support, you’ll be the first line of communication between potential new clients (small business owners) and a team of Business Support Managers.

This is a key role that will require you to work at pace while still providing the best possible experience for our potential clients.

Key tasks
Qualify and secure leads:
* Respond to an average of 100 inbound registrations within agreed 2 working days.
* Assess the eligibility of each registration (lead) from various sources, answer questions about the service, obtain key information from the client, and then pass qualified leads to a team of Business Support Managers.
* Devise and follow a process to ensure qualified leads are effectively tracked and monitored.
* Identify leads that are insufficiently qualified and work with the Head of Business Support to move them through the sales pipeline.
* Provide weekly lead qualification and opportunity reports to the MD of Small Business.
* Work with the Grow London Local team to ensure that leads are booked into calendars and converted in a timely manner.

Leads generation:
* Identify potential new lead sources, and optimise lead entry processes.
* Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead generation campaigns.
* Improve and automate the lead qualification process – including the implementation of tools and workflows within the CRM (Salesforce).

Process Management / coordination / improvement:
* Cleanse lead lists and find ways to re-engage with insufficiently qualified prospects.
* Continually develop knowledge of Grow London Local’s support provision, in order to provide the best possible standard of customer service to potential leads.
* Ensure that client information is stored and maintained accurately and in line with GDPR obligations.

Business Support Service
* Support an operational team providing navigation service to small and micro businesses, working with four regional teams to help them meet their objectives in terms of client satisfaction and output volumes.
* Rapidly develop and maintain internal relationships with our service provision, marketing and Salesforce teams.
* Work with the Grow London Local team to ensure that leads are booked into calendars and converted in a timely manner.

Skills, experience and behaviours
Required:
* Experience of working in a Sales and target driven environment.
* Experience in similar lead generation role where cold calling and systematic follow-up is required.
* Experience on B2C marketing and social media campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to engage with a varied audience
* Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce a bonus).
* Strong attitude for learning.
* A demonstrated commitment to inclusion and an understanding of structural inequalities.
* A commitment to improving organisational performance.

Preferred:
* An understanding of the issues facing small businesses in London.
* A second language.
