We are currently recruiting for an excellent Permanent opportunity in North West London as a Planned Works Contract Manager.
We are looking for a dynamic individual that can manage a busy planned works team. The manager will have 3 direct reports and report into the Head of Strategic Asset Management and Planned Works. The Contract Manager will work in our Asset management division which manages all property maintenance matters for our client.
The planned works contracts manager will oversee all management duties of the service which are summarised in our job description. The team delivers projects ranging from traditional component renewals such as kitchens and bathrooms to complex building pathology, defect rectification and improvement projects.
This will involve managing the team and overall programme, reporting on progress, fostering positive working relationships with internal colleagues and our framework consultants/contractors whilst also holding them to account for performance. The individual will be responsible for managing an annual planned maintenance budget which fluctuates between £5m and £10m.
We are ideally looking for surveyor experienced in the delivery of planned works in a social housing environment with a demonstrated track record of success. Previous management experience is preferred however we will consider and support individuals seeking to take a step up into a management role. We will consider managers without a surveying background however they will need to demonstrate experience of managing and delivering planned works programmes.
