We are currently seeking an experienced Rent and Service Charge Officer (Managing Agent) to work for an excellent ‘not for profit’ organisation based in London. This opportunity is a 6 month FTC paying £40,055 per annum plus benefits and flexible working.
Our client, traces their roots back 100 years, building and managing high quality homes as well as providing support services and housing for those who are most vulnerable in London and Hertfordshire. They work to provide safe, decent affordable homes and support for individuals and communities.
Role Profile
As the Rent and Service Charge Officer for the Managing Agent stock you will play a pivotal part in ensuring we are compliant with statute and legislation when it comes to re-charging our residents for services received from the Managing Agent. You will be the main point of contact for all of the Managing Agents, Freeholders and colleagues, ensuring a seamless and compliance process for the invoicing process.
What you’ll do
* Manage the invoicing process, including sense checking services against the lease
* Challenge costs where necessary and feed into service improvement
* Be a champion for the resident by ensuring value for money
What you’ll need
* A good understanding of the Managing Agent relationship
* Exceptional communication skills
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to trouble shoot issues to provide positive outcomes
