We have a new vacancy for a Residence Assistant within the Commercial operations team, your role is fundamental in ensuring our residents receive outstanding service and support. You’re the first point of contact, embodying our client’s commitment to excellence in customer care. Your responsibilities span from administrative support to minor tenancy issues, ensuring our operations comply with legislative and health & safety standards.
This is a temporary 5 days a week office (Foley Street London W1W) based position paying £17.30 ph PAYE / £ 22.74 ph Umbrella rate for a minimum of 3 months with potential to be extended past this.
Your direct interactions with residents and stakeholders are crucial in maintaining high satisfaction and trust in our services. Through diligent administrative support and practical issue resolution, you contribute to the smooth operation of our residences, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for all.
What you’ll do
* Act as a primary contact for residents, offering support, guidance, and resolution for their inquiries and low-level tenancy issues.
* Aid the management and operational teams with essential administrative tasks, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
* Arrange and oversee appointments for maintenance work, gathering and acting on feedback to continuously improve our service delivery.
* Welcome visitors, manage access controls and maintain secure, clean, and orderly reception areas in accordance with our procedures.
* Ensure that you follow and keep up to date with all relevant company & statutory policies and related procedures, including health and safety and financial regulations.
* Hybrid arrangements – at least two days a week in our communities, residents’ homes, on housing estates or schemes, and at least two days in an office working with others.
Essential knowledge, experience and skills, including qualifications and professional membership
* Proven experience in a customer service environment, ideally within a similar sector, showcasing your ability to manage tasks efficiently and support team objectives.
* Exceptional organisational skills to efficiently manage records, reports, and communication.
* Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and resident support.
* Understanding the housing sector’s legislative and regulatory framework is desirable, enhancing your ability to navigate and address compliance-related issues.
* Intermediate IT and systems skills, including Microsoft Office.
* This role is subject to an enhanced criminal record check (CRB) issued by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
