This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within the Performance and Insights Team, helping drive business decisions through high-quality data and reporting.
The Role
As a Performance Analyst, you will support the delivery of accurate and insightful performance reporting across the organisation. Working closely with teams across the business, you will collect, analyse and present KPI data, ensuring stakeholders can clearly understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
You will primarily work with Excel to gather and structure data, with reporting outputs often presented via PowerPoint. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to capture commentary, action plans, and maintain clear KPI definitions to ensure consistency across reporting cycles.
According to the role profile, you will play a key part in ensuring reports are produced to a strict timetable and quality standard, supporting both internal and external performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, collate and validate performance data from across the organisation
- Produce KPI reports using Excel and PowerPoint
- Work with stakeholders to obtain commentary and action plans relating to performance outcomes
- Maintain and document KPI definitions to ensure consistency and clarity across reporting
- Support monthly reporting cycles and ensure deadlines are met
- Carry out data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of performance information
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools
- Utilise SharePoint and Office 365 tools to support collaboration and document management
- Provide performance insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, analytical and detail-focused, with the ability to quickly understand business processes and performance frameworks.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in performance reporting within housing or a similar regulated environment
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Experience using PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other Office 365 tools
- A methodical and systematic approach to managing data
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively across teams
- Ability to translate data into meaningful insights for stakeholders
