Gas & Electrical Supervisor
£50,000 (pro rata) | Temp to Perm / FTC | Immediate Start

We’re working with a well-established housing provider to recruit a Gas & Electrical Supervisor to support their Property Services team.
This role is less about being the most technical person in the room and more about leading a team properly. If you’ve run a trade team, managed performance, and know how to get the best out of people day to day, this is where you’ll stand out.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing operatives across gas and/or electrical works, ensuring the team is delivering efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and managing a team of trade operatives
• Running one-to-ones, setting objectives and managing performance
• Driving productivity and addressing underperformance
• Overseeing day-to-day repairs, servicing and maintenance delivery
• Ensuring works are compliant with legislation and best practice
• Monitoring KPIs, budgets and overall team output

What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience managing a team of operatives within repairs or maintenance
• Strong leadership skills, particularly around performance management and team development
• Confident running one-to-ones and holding people accountable
• Good understanding of compliance and health & safety
• Background in either gas or electrical
Contract Details
• Circa £50,000 (pro rata)
• Temp to perm or fixed-term contract
• Minimum 3 months, likely longer
• Hybrid working with a base in Hemel Hempstead
• Immediate start available
