As a Resident Liaison Officer, you’ll be the vital link between residents, contractors, and internal teams - ensuring communication runs smoothly and that residents’ voices shape the services delivered. This is a front-line role where no two days are the same; you’ll be out in the community, building relationships and driving improvements in the resident experience.
- Location: Based in Morden (3 days office-based) | Covering Bromley, Lambeth, Lewisham & Croydon
- Rates: £18.89 PAYE / £23.95 Umbrella | Ongoing Temporary Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between residents, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Support the delivery of local resident engagement strategies and analyse feedback to help shape service improvements.
- Coordinate responses to customer queries and complaints, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and empathetic.
- Organise and attend resident surgeries, stakeholder meetings, and community events across South London.
- Produce communication materials and reports to keep residents and teams informed.
- Work closely with colleagues across housing management, repairs, and customer service to ensure a joined-up approach.
About You
- Strong background in customer-facing roles within housing or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders and resolving issues proactively.
- Good understanding of housing management issues and resident engagement.
- IT literate with solid report writing and data analysis skills.
- Flexible and willing to travel across Bromley, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Croydon as part of your role.
