Income Collection Advisor  

  • Location: Kings Cross, Hybrid working – Monday & Tuesday in the office, 3 days from home
  • Pay: £27.56 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Contract: Ongoing temporary opportunity

This is an opportunity to step into a key Income Collection role within a high-performing Operations team, where your work will directly support residents to sustain their tenancies and maintain financial stability.

The Role

Working within the Income Collection team and reporting to the Income Collection Manager, you’ll take ownership of rent and service charge accounts across a mixed tenure portfolio. You’ll play a vital role in maximising income while delivering a compassionate, resident-focused service.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify trends, resolve complex cases, and ensure income collection processes are followed effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a caseload of rent arrears accounts
  • Proactively contacting residents to prevent arrears escalation
  • Negotiating and monitoring sustainable repayment plans
  • Supporting residents facing financial difficulty with guidance and referrals
  • Identifying vulnerabilities and signposting to support services
  • Working collaboratively with local authorities and partners to maximise income
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation
  • Taking proportionate enforcement action where required
