The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly refreshed Housing Management service as a Neighbourhood Housing Lead, supporting residents across South East London and Kent.

  • Reporting Office: Lewisham (SE13) 
  • Working Patch: South East London & Kent
  • Contract: Initial 3 month temp-contract (ongoing) 
  • Rates: Approx. £35,951 per annum
  • Persona: Agile Working (60% - 80% remote working)

Your Impact in the Role

As the Neighbourhood Housing Lead, you will:

  • Support the Housing Management team to deliver a consistent, reliable, resident-focused service.
  • Improve resident satisfaction and build trust across your neighbourhood patches.
  • Act as the primary relationship holder for residents across your area (patches typically cover 500–600 homes aligned to local authority boundaries).
  • Help ensure residents feel safe, supported, and happy in their homes.

You will be a strong match for this role if you have:

  • A proven track record of building strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence handling a diverse customer base.
  • A problem-solving mindset, determination, and a genuine commitment to keeping promises.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude and a willingness to challenge internal processes to secure the best outcomes.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage a varied and busy workload.
  • Stakeholder management experience and the ability to navigate complex cases.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar housing or neighbourhood management role.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
