The role

We’re looking for an experienced Repairs Scheduler / Repairs Administrator to join a busy Property Services team on a temporary basis?. You’ll play a key role in ensuring responsive repairs, communal works and void works are scheduled efficiently and completed within agreed timescales.

Working closely with residents, in-house operatives, surveyors and external contractors, you’ll be responsible for managing repair requests from start to finish ?- ensuring systems are updated accurately and residents are kept informed throughout.

3-month contract (with potential extension)
Location: Southwark ?/ London Bridge (office-based)
Salary: £32,907 – £34,359 per annum (pro rata)

Key responsibilities

  • Scheduling and allocating responsive repairs, communal and void works
  • Logging repairs accurately to support first-time fixes wherever possible
  • Coordinating appointments between residents, surveyors and contractors
  • Managing damp and mould cases, including trackers, evidence and follow-on works
  • Raising and monitoring work orders, ensuring correct priorities and rates are applied
  • Tracking contractor performance and chasing outstanding works
  • Maintaining clear communication logs and up-to-date records
  • Supporting compliance activity (e.g. gas, electrical, EPC inspections)
  • Assisting with KPIs, reporting and general repairs administration

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a repairs, scheduling or administrative role within housing or property services
  • Good understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance processes
  • Confidence working with in-house operatives and external contractors
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to deal professionally with residents and colleagues
  • Comfortable using systems, trackers and Microsoft Excel
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of damp & mould, disrepair or Awaab’s Law is desirable but not essential
