- Service Charge Analyst £28.22 per hour Umbrella
Fully remote (UK) with one-off IT setup
We’re recruiting an experienced Service Charge Analyst to support service charge budgets and year-end accounts across leasehold and shared ownership properties.
This is a delivery-focused role for someone who understands leases, allocations, and service charges in a housing environment and can step in with minimal hand-holding.
Key responsibilities • Prepare service charge budgets and year-end accounts
• Work across leasehold and shared ownership properties
• Read, interpret, and apply lease provisions accurately
• Complete allocations and apportionments using Excel
• Ensure charges are accurate, compliant, and defensible
Essential experience • Strong service charge experience within housing
• Confident interpreting lease terms and conditions
• Excel skills including formulas, lookups, and allocations (no macros)
Finance qualifications are not required. Practical service charge experience is essential.
Contract details • Rate: £28.22 per hour (Umbrella)
• Duration: Initially until end of March 2026 (approx. 3 months, potential extension)
• Start: Ideally before Christmas for IT setup; fully operational from January
• Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Working pattern: Flexible, with core availability mid-day
