  • Work closely with housing management, estate services, repairs, performance and improvement and other specialist teams.
  • Work with Councillors, MPs, local authorities, police and other external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings and case conferences where required.
  • Work with contractors to address poor service delivery and ensure improvements are made.
  • Support legal action where necessary, including preparing court documentation and attending court.
  • Engage with residents' associations, forums and other resident groups.
  • Use knowledge of local demographics, demand and resident satisfaction to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure residents receive clear information about the services and standards they can expect.

About You

  • Experience dealing with tenancy issues, ASB, tenancy fraud, safeguarding and vulnerable residents.
  • Knowledge of leasehold management, property management, communal areas and service charges.
  • An understanding of relevant housing legislation, welfare reform and the regulatory environment for housing providers.
  • Experience working directly with tenants and/or leaseholders.
  • Strong risk management and compliance awareness.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively to different audiences.
  • Confidence to challenge decisions and processes where necessary to achieve the right outcome for residents.
  • A proactive, persistent and solution-focused approach.
