Description
Team Administrator – LLR, RTB and KWS
London and Slough | Ongoing temporary contract | £26,775–£29,280 per annum | Monday to Friday
We are looking for a capable and highly organised Team Administrator to provide operational, administrative and customer-focused support across a busy housing service.
This is a varied role supporting services including London Living Rent, Right to Buy and Key Worker Schemes. You will help coordinate essential processes, maintain accurate customer and property records, respond to enquiries and ensure customers receive a professional service throughout important stages of their housing journey.
Working within a fast-paced team, you will have regular contact with customers, colleagues and external partners. You will need to be comfortable managing competing priorities, taking ownership of administrative tasks and handling information with care and accuracy.
The role
As Team Administrator, you will act as an important first point of contact for customers, residents and other stakeholders. You will manage enquiries received through different channels, resolving them promptly where possible and escalating more complex matters appropriately.
You will support operational activity connected with customer cases, tenancy events, purchases, renewals and other housing transactions. This will include monitoring workflows, maintaining trackers and helping the team deliver work within agreed timescales and service targets.
Accurate record keeping is central to the position. You will update customer, property and tenancy information across relevant databases or case management systems, produce reports and management information, and assist with data-quality checks and audits.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Supporting meetings, actions, correspondence and general team administration
- Building effective relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Processing invoices and purchase orders where required
- Monitoring expenditure and raising any anomalies
- Maintaining appropriate records for governance and audit purposes
- Escalating risks, complaints and operational issues promptly
- Supporting service improvements and the introduction of new processes
- Working in line with information governance, health and safety, regulatory requirements and internal procedures
About you
You will have strong administrative experience gained within a fast-paced administrative, operational or customer service environment. You must be able to organise your workload effectively, manage several priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy.
You will also need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence building relationships with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams
- Experience maintaining records, databases or case management systems
- The ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
- A clear commitment to customer service and continuous improvement
Experience within housing, property, customer operations or a related sector would be helpful but is not essential. Knowledge of affordable housing products and tenures, experience producing reports or analysing operational data, and an understanding of housing compliance requirements would also be advantageous.
This is an agile hybrid role covering London and Slough. You will work 20%–40% of your contractual hours from the reporting office or other working locations. Travel to operational locations will be required at least once a week, with additional travel according to business needs.
If you are an organised, customer-focused administrator who enjoys keeping busy services running smoothly, we would be pleased to hear from you.
