Neighbourhood Housing Lead
East London | Temporary Contract | Remote Working

Are you an experienced housing professional who thrives on building strong communities, resolving complex tenancy issues, and delivering outstanding customer service?

We're working with one of the UK's largest and most respected housing associations, managing tens of thousands of homes across London and the South East. Following significant investment in its housing management service, the organisation is continuing to strengthen its neighbourhood teams and is seeking several Neighbourhood Housing Leads to support residents across East London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation committed to improving resident satisfaction, building trust within communities, and ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and proud of where they live.

The Role

As a Neighbourhood Housing Lead, you'll take ownership of a designated patch of approximately 500-600 homes across East London, acting as the primary point of contact for residents and working proactively to deliver effective housing management services.

You'll play a key role in maintaining strong resident relationships, resolving tenancy and estate-related issues, and working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated housing patch and act as the lead contact for residents
  • Build positive and productive relationships with residents, stakeholders, and partner agencies
  • Drive resident satisfaction through responsive and proactive neighbourhood management
  • Investigate and resolve tenancy, estate, and neighbourhood issues
  • Manage a varied caseload while meeting service standards and deadlines
  • Work collaboratively across teams to ensure residents receive a consistent, high-quality service
  • Challenge processes and identify opportunities for service improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within Housing Management, Tenancy Management, Neighbourhood Services, or a similar housing role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage a complex and varied workload
  • Experience dealing with tenancy issues, resident enquiries, and community-based housing matters
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use

What's on Offer?

  • Temp equivalent to £37,451 per annum
  • Hybrid working model (60%-80% remote)
  • East London patches including Havering, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham
  • Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Immediate start available

This role would suit Housing Officers, Neighbourhood Officers, Tenancy Officers, Housing Management Officers, Resident Services Officers, Estate Officers, or experienced Housing Professionals looking for their next opportunity within a highly respected social housing organisation.
