Technical Officer

We’re recruiting for a Technical Officer with a local authority, supporting an important Land Registry project focused on accurate spatial data and records.

Role details:

• Pay: £13.98–£15.66 PAYE per hour
• Location: Maidenhead – predominantly office-based
• Contract: 3-month temporary contract

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve and update Land Registry records
• Research planning history and locate historic files
• Interrogate and update data within the Uniform system
• Read plans and determine application site boundaries
• Plot spatial information into Land Registry records
• Liaise with planning officers and other service areas

Requirements: Strong administration, accuracy and attention to detail, database experience and confidence working with plans. Uniform and GIS/spatial software experience are desirable.
