The successful candidate will undertake asbestos inspections, surveys, sampling and associated activities in accordance with relevant legislation, industry guidance and the company’s quality, site and technical procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified surveyor who takes pride in producing accurate work and clear, practical recommendations. You will have the freedom to work independently while remaining part of a knowledgeable and supportive wider team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking asbestos management surveys
  • Completing refurbishment surveys and asbestos re-inspections

  • Compiling accurate schematic drawings
  • Producing final survey documents for clients and customers
  • Identifying areas of concern and recommending appropriate remedial works
  • Working in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance

About you

As a minimum, you must hold the British Occupational Hygiene Society BOHS P402 qualification in Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos.

You should also have:

  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • The confidence to work independently and contribute as part of a team
  • A willingness and ability to travel as required

Working arrangement

The position is homebased and field based, with work focused around the North Leeds area. Travel is an important part of the role, so applicants must be prepared to attend different client locations as required.

What is offered

You will join a supportive, purpose-driven business where professional expertise is valued and collaboration is encouraged. The company invests in learning, development, modern systems and appropriate resources, with a clear commitment to employee wellbeing and career progression.
