Pay: £29.49 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment
Pattern: Full-Time | 5 Days Per Week Office Based
We’re currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Housing Officer to join a busy Neighbourhood Services team within one of London’s most forward-thinking local authorities. This borough is recognised for its commitment to delivering high-quality services to residents, investing in communities, and creating safe, well-managed neighbourhoods across West London.
Based within the White City Estate area housing office, you’ll play a key role in delivering frontline housing management services and supporting residents across a varied patch of tenancies, leases, and licences.
The Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced housing management position where no two days are the same. Duties will include:
- Managing a patch of tenancies, leases and licences
- Delivering a high-quality front-line housing service to residents
- Carrying out estate inspections and neighbourhood audits
- Managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy-related issues
- Conducting tenancy verification checks and additional housing visits
- Supporting general neighbourhood and estate management
- Working collaboratively with residents and internal departments to resolve issues quickly and effectively
We’re Looking For
- Previous Housing Officer or housing management experience, or strong transferable skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A proactive and practical approach to problem solving
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Confidence working independently and managing a varied caseload
- Experience carrying out estate inspections, tenancy management or resident-facing services would be highly advantageous
