Housing Officer – Westminster Patch
- Location: Hammersmith / Westminster (Hybrid Working)
- Pay: £28.56 per hour Umbrella
- Contract: Initial 3-Month Contract – Strong Potential to Extend
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of London’s leading G15 housing associations for an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy and resident-focused operations team.
This is a fantastic chance to work within a well-respected social housing provider that is committed to delivering safe, high-quality homes and excellent customer service across London. The successful candidate will manage a mixed tenure patch across Westminster, taking ownership of resident relationships and ensuring communities are well maintained, supported, and heard.
You’ll be based out of the Hammersmith office with hybrid flexibility, managing a patch of approximately 190–200 properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a designated housing patch across Westminster
- Delivering a visible, resident-focused housing management service
- Handling tenancy management, ASB, safeguarding, and estate management issues
- Carrying out estate inspections and ensuring high standards across communal areas
- Managing resident queries and complaints through to resolution
- Working closely with contractors, managing agents, and internal teams
- Supporting residents with a compassionate and proactive approach
- Monitoring service delivery and driving continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Housing Officer within social housing
- Strong knowledge of tenancy and estate management
- Experience managing ASB and resident casework
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a busy patch independently and prioritise workload effectively
- Confident working collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders
- Strong IT and case management skills
This role would suit someone who enjoys being out on patch, building relationships with residents, and taking real ownership of their schemes.
