Housing Officer (Level 3) – Hounslow

£30.50 per hour (Umbrella) | 35 Hours per Week | Hybrid Working

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Housing Officer to join one of London's leading housing organisations on a temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable Housing Officer to manage a General Needs housing patch across the London Borough of Hounslow. Due to the nature of the patch, we're specifically looking for candidates with strong Level 3 Housing Officer experience who are confident managing complex housing management cases and working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of General Needs properties across Hounslow.
• Deliver a comprehensive housing management service, including tenancy, estate and neighbourhood management.
• Manage complex tenancy issues including ASB, tenancy breaches, safeguarding concerns and resident disputes.
• Carry out estate inspections, home visits and tenancy audits.
• Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to support residents and sustain tenancies.
• Ensure excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with housing policies and procedures.

About You

• Proven experience working as a Housing Officer within social housing.
• Extensive experience managing General Needs housing.
• A strong understanding of tenancy management legislation and best practice.
• Experience handling complex casework and managing a demanding patch.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability and willingness to travel throughout the London Borough of Hounslow.

Working Pattern

• 35 hours per week (9:00am – 5:00pm)
• Hybrid working, with attendance at the Hammersmith office every Monday and Thursday.
• Regular travel across the Hounslow patch will be required.
