• Taking ownership of complex anti social behaviour cases and supporting colleagues with investigations and enforcement action

• Assessing evidence and deciding on the most appropriate, proportionate and cost effective course of action

• Identifying appropriate support for victims of anti social behaviour and domestic abuse

• Preparing legal files and managing tenancy enforcement, fraud and legal disrepair cases

• Working closely with solicitors, process servers and bailiffs

• Representing the organisation at court when required

• Managing complex tenancy cases, including successions and end of tenancy reviews

• Liaising with the police and other partners to gather evidence and support criminal or tenancy enforcement proceedings

• Working with organisations such as local authorities, Women’s Aid, mediation services and other specialist support providers

What we are looking for

• Excellent knowledge of anti social behaviour, tenancy fraud or both

• Strong knowledge of the legislation relating to tenancy management, fraud, anti social behaviour and legal disrepair

• Experience of investigative interviewing, ideally involving tenancy fraud or anti social behaviour

• Strong investigation, intelligence gathering and problem solving skills

• Experience of successfully managing complex cases and achieving positive outcomes

• The confidence to assess different viewpoints, exercise sound judgement and make decisions

• A positive, solutions focused approach

• The ability to challenge people constructively and professionally

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences

• The ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external agencies

• A resilient and adaptable approach to work

• The ability to travel across the region

• Flexibility to work occasional early mornings or evenings when required for investigation work

Desirable experience

• Knowledge of Data Protection and how it applies to investigation work

• Experience of preparing and presenting cases at court

• A Counter Fraud Specialist qualification
