Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the Role We’re recruiting for an Income Admin Officer to join a committed team supporting customers with income management, rent arrears and tenancy sustainment.
The successful candidate will help maximise rental income while providing practical, customer-focused advice and administrative support across a defined portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rent arrears, rent collection and income maximisation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support customers facing financial difficulties or complex needs.
- Develop tailored payment plans based on individual circumstances.
- Provide advice around benefits, debt management and money management.
- Make referrals to specialist income maximisation services where appropriate.
- Support colleagues with complex arrears cases and eviction processes.
- Provide advice on effective rent payment options.
- Maintain accurate rent accounts, tenancy and financial information.
- Generate rent statements and produce reports and performance information.
- Assist with income and expenditure monitoring and petty cash administration.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with relevant safeguarding, health & safety and GDPR requirements.
About You You’ll ideally have experience working with vulnerable or diverse customer groups, alongside strong customer service and communication skills. You should be confident managing sensitive situations, making decisions around rent arrears and working as part of a team.
Knowledge of current benefit systems, debt management or care and support services would be advantageous.
