Our client is an extremely successful designer furniture company and is currently expanding their online department and are looking for a well presented, confident individual with an eye for design.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter that is able to multi-task, be highly organised, possess good communication skills (both written and verbal), enjoy working in a small team and be committed and reliable.
This is the ideal role for someone looking to break into the world of e-commerce.
The role:
You will be responsible for product placement on the website ensuring all descriptions, pricing, technical information and written copy is accurate, interesting and eye catching.
Other duties (including but not limited to:
Updating social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Houzz
Assisting with press releases, editorial and product information
You should be:
Interested in and understand websites and e-commerce
Able to work within a small team, whilst also having the initiative to carrying out daily tasks without prompting
Able to deal with large volumes of data
Accurate with attention to detail
Highly organised with good multi-tasking skills
Enthusiastic about design
Technical skills required:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good standard of general education, with at least 4 GCSEs including Maths and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or a similar Graphic Design software would Great with computers with the ability to pick up new software quickly
