Lettings Negotiator

We are pleased to be recruiting for an excellent opportunity based in North London as an Experienced Lettings Negotiator ideally from the Private Sector.

This is a long term temporary post with the potential for the right candidate to secure a permanent position and is initially paying £18.00 per hour PAYE based on a 36 hour week Mon – Friday working.

Procuring affordable private sector accommodation for homeless households plays a crucial role in helping us meet housing demand. To help deliver this, our clients innovative Lettings service was created and to date has helped more than 2,000 families settle into the private sector.

As a Negotiator you will be responsible  meeting your monthly and annual targets of procuring from private sector landlords and to ensure you negotiate the best financial deals for new supply of private rented properties, making sure all properties meet agreed property standards.

You will also be expected to promote the councils private rented sector schemes
arrange and attend Landlord Events and be able to actively identify ways to increase supply of affordable private rented sector properties.

A person who has can do attitude, takes ownership and is always willing to go the extra mile. A key part of your role will be building relationships with landlords, agents, industry players and our stakeholders, to ensure we are successful in securing affordable accommodation. Ability to drive, and access to a car is essential.
